Nemaslug® is recommended as a curative treatment to control slugs. Avoid treating close to ponds as this may reduce the population of beneficial water snails.

FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY TO OBTAIN MAXIMUM ACTIVITY.
RECOMMENDED RATES
Drench application – preferred method, especially where crop canopy is dense. Make up Nemaslug® to give a final dilution of 1 tray in 200 litres water. Apply at 2 litres/m2.
Spray application – make up Nemaslug® to give a final dilution of 1 tray in 50 litres water. Apply immediately at 1 litre/m2 and irrigate to a further 1 litres/m2.
Knapsack sprayer – make up stock solution: suspend 1 tray of Nemaslug® in 10 litres water in a clean graduated bucket. Agitate the stock solution and dilute as follows: 1 litre of stock solution to 9 litres in knapsack. Keep solution agitated and apply immediately at 1 litre/m2. Apply immediately at 1 litre/m2 and irrigate to a further 1 litres/m2.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Remove all filters from the nozzles and filters, 1mm, 18 mesh or finer, from the application equipment.
For drench/spray application:
Partly fill the tank with cool clean water. Start the agitator and continue until end of application.
Empty the Nemaslug® trays into a large bucket, add 10 litres water and mix thoroughly.
Rinse bucket contents into the tank through its sieve and add the required volume of additional water to the tank.
For knapsack application:
Add stock solution to the tank.
Agitate knapsack regularly to maintain suspension.
APPLICATION CONDITIONS
For optimum results:
Treatment should be applied when slugs are present, in spring and autumn.
Soil or media temperatures should be between 5 and 30ºC for at least two weeks after application.
The soil or media should be moist.
Use entire tray at one time.
Use nematodes immediately after mixing.
Agitate nematodes constantly during application.
If product is applied over foliage, irrigate immediately with plain water.
PRECAUTIONS
Do not use product if past expiry date or incorrectly stored.
Nemaslug® is compatible with many commonly applied pesticides but some chemicals may reduce the viability and/or efficacy of the product: details are available from your distributor.
Nemaslug® will not control black vine weevil pupae or adults.
Do not store Nemaslug® solution for future use.
Do not exceed 00 psi/20 bar/2000 kPa pump pressure.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
Upon receipt remove outer packaging.
Store Nemaslug® in a refrigerator (5ºC) but do not freeze.
Ensure good air circulation around each tray.
Use entire tray contents at one time – do not sub-divide trays as each contains a measured dose of nematode.
Use before expiry date.
Disposal: product and packaging waste resulting from the use of this product, or unused, out of date product, may be disposed of on site or at any approved waste disposal facility in accordance with federal and local regulations.
