Dac Digiline si logo

A mixture of adults of the ectoparasitoid Diglyphus isaea and the endoparasitoid Dacnusa sibirica, these tiny wasps are specialised in attacking the larval stages of leafminer pests (Liriomyza sp., including Liriomyza huidobriensis, and the chrysanthemum leafminer Chromatomiya syngenesiae). Each bottle contains 250 adults (90% Dacnusa and 10% Diglyphus).

Dac Digiline si

  • Two wasp species, two modes of action
  • Broad temperature range: cool/hot
  • Broad range of leafminer species
  • Source of food & liquid in cap
  • Life cycle is faster than leaf miner

General information

Diglyphus isaea is an ectoparasitoid. The larvae live next to the paralysed larval host and feed on it.

Dacnusa sibirica is an endoparasitoid. The parasite larvae develops slowly within the host.

To clean up high populations of leafminer, use Abamectin (VERTIMEC®/AGRIMEC®) or Cyromazine (TRIGARD® outside UK). Cyromazine will affect Dacnusa sibirica populations by killing parasitised host larvae
