Chrysoline c logo

A 500 ml cardboard tube contains: 1000 Chrysoperla carnea 2nd instar larvae in buckwheat husks. Chrysoperla larvae are predators of aphids and other pests. The larvae develop into lacewings

The larvae remain in place on aphid colonies and are used as a curative treatment for localized attacks. Adults will disperse, thus new releases may be required to maintain control pressure. Tests on aphids show total consumption by a single larva of >200 Macrosiphum euphorbiae, 385 Myzus persicae and 425 Aphis gossypii in 14 days at 21°C
