The original controlled release sachet was first developed by Syngenta Bioline and is a key treatment for Western Flower Thrip control in many crops. The formulation has a new special ingredient from natural sources, which increases the number of predatory Amblyseius cucumeris mites that are released onto the crop each day. Mites are continuously released over a period of 6 weeks or more.

Predatory Mite for Thrips control
|
Amblyseius cucumeris predatory mites are key components in the control of thrip larvae in integrated programmes. The predators emerge constantly onto the plant and hunt thrip larvae. The humidity of the carrier, the type of paper used, the prey/predator balance in the carrier and the purity of the product are all important factors for successful use of this predator. Our new formulation is ideal for drip-irrigated crops and releases more mites per day than ever before.
